The notes and photos accompanying these chants are meant to give you a peek into the heart and mindset present at the time of each musical working. Most of the recordings are simply a quick grab of the fresh, raw idea. Notation for each song is included in hopes that my percussionist friends will learn the rhythm. The chants are fueled by my passion for the Alchemical Fire Circle. (Also see: Video or The ReSourcery), as well as a growing love for Kirtan.
These songs are for my friends from those fellowships - in gratitude for the contributions of beauty, inspiration and sanity your presence in my life brings.
You can use the links below to go directly to a particular chant. If you don't know a song by name, but remember a phrase, you might find the chant by using the Search function in the upper left corner of the page. The "Newer Post" and "Older Post" links at the bottom of each page will move you forward or backward chronologically. Clicking HERE or on "Home" at the bottom of each entry will bring you back to the most recent entry. Sometimes the soundfiles need a "nudge" (by dragging the slider to the right) to get things moving after they load... the FireFox browsers in particular seems to have problems, so try a different browser ...enjoy!
